Strengthening the Mission

The primary mission of New Majority California is “broadening the appeal of the republican party by promoting a fiscally responsible philosophy toward government and contributing resources to republicans who support an inclusive mainstream approach toward politics” is the heart and core of what New Majority stands for and therefore other political activities including support of candidates of parties other than the republican party should not be done in connection with New Majority activities.

Expansion of the New Majority

New Majority California has as one of its responsibilities the proper growth and furtherance of the organization on a statewide basis.  In this regard, New Majority California encourages and nurtures the creation of new chapters. The New Majority California Board has an important role in the oversight of the expansion process.  These responsibilities include both mentoring the leadership of new and potential chapters, as well as protecting the image and reputation as chapters are formed and begin to operate. 

Supporting Candidates

Since New Majority has a desire to improve the status and stature of the Republican Party in the future, it has a keen interest in candidate recruiting and identification of a diverse as well as competent group of people for the future.

Broadening the Republican Appeal

The New Majority is actively working to expand the Republican base by providing resources to encourage greater involvement of groups that are not typically associated with the Republican Party. It is also working to attract voters who are grown apathetic towards politics and are disillusioned by the agenda of both major parties. To this end, the New Majority is supporting minority and ethnic candidates who are more likely to connect with these voters.

The New Majority also believes in closing the gender gap that exists in the Republican Party by actively recruiting female candidates and voters to the party.
