Since emerging on the political scene in 1999, the New Majority has become one of the largest contributors to Republican candidates, not just in California, but across the entire county. In California, the New Majority has supported fiscally responsible politics and initiatives like Propositions 56, and 57 that helped rescue California from looming budget deficits.
 

The New Majority San Diego supported a number of candidates for State Assembly. Of those, Nathan Fletcher from the 75th Assembly District won. In addition, The New Majority and its members contributed over $250,000 towards Redistricting Reform in California. In the 2008 General Election, California voters passed Proposition 11, ensuring fair Legislative Districts throughout California.
